Ian Hart
Chartered Wealth Manager
Ian started working in Financial Services in 1983, before that he was a Chartered Electrical Engineer designing computers.
Ian formed Unbiased Financial Analysis in 2003 with the aim of placing you the client in the centre. He wanted to bring a fresh new approach to supporting you achieve your financial goals and giving you peace of mind.
UFP helps in the community. Ian was asked to help promote the fantastic work of St Raphael's hospice by cycling to Paris in 2017.
Alastair Croswell
Independent Financial Adviser
Alastair started in financial services in 2006 after studying Biology at the University of Nottingham.
As a Cheshire boy at heart, he likes to bring a smile to people's faces while making sure they are relaxed and comfortable about their financial planning goals. Whether a client is looking for their first mortgage or ways to help reduce potential inheritance tax bills he is happy to help in any way he can.
A keen sportsman previously playing everything from water polo to rugby from football to squash. His specialist skills are on the table tennis court so if you ever fancy a meeting over a game in Wimbledon he will be happy to accommodate.
Michael Troy
Independent Financial Adviser
Over the last 27 years I have been working as an IFA, initially for a specialist pension broker, prior to starting Troy French & Partners in 1995 with Peter French. In 2016 I joined up with the team here at Unbiased. In the 27 year period, we have worked under 4 financial services regulators, there has been 5 government instigated major pension savings changes, 4 global recessions, the most recent we will be living with the repercussions for a few more years, I honestly feel therefore that one of the most important roles a competent knowledgeable independent adviser / broker can bring, is to help guide their clients through the maze of pensions, investment, mortgage and life assurance propositions currently available.
Julie Dibden
Office Manager
I have worked for Ian Hart for 8 years, my role as Office Manager is very varied which I enjoy. Prior to this I worked for 10 years as a Systems and Services Manager for a large publishing company. Outside of work I love spending time with family and friends. I love to cook, baking breads and cakes are a particular passion of mine. My favourite tipple is a G&T and our office joke is.. ROCK!
Simon O'Leary
Administrator
Simon has worked for Unbiased for over 5 years in a number of different roles. Initially as an assistant to Mike Troy, then in a larger role as an administrator for UFG.
When away from work, Simon enjoys West-end musicals, fine dining and Netflix
Maggie Bayoumy
Senior Administrator
Maggie started working in Financial Services in 2001 and has detailed of experience of the Independent Adviser world, the financial products available and how clients investments are placed and cared for.
Marian
Administrator
Marian previously worked in IT in the financial sector until joining UFG in 2016. Her primary role is creating Investment Models across the platforms. Away from work she enjoys gardening, reading, travel and needlework.
